Online doctor for fever
Video consultations with a registered doctor, for patients in India — INR 499.
Most fevers can be assessed safely on a video call: a doctor asks how long it has lasted and what else you feel, and tells you what to do next. Some fevers need to be seen in person straight away — those are listed below.
When this becomes urgent
Call your local emergency number now
- Chest pain together with these symptoms can be a sign of a heart attack. Call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency room now.
- Throat or tongue swelling with breathing trouble or widespread hives can be a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis). Use an epinephrine auto-injector if prescribed and call emergency services now.
- Loss of consciousness or an active seizure is an emergency. Call emergency services now.
- A severe headache with a stiff neck or strong sensitivity to light can be a sign of meningitis — a medical emergency. Seek emergency care immediately.
- Confusion together with fast breathing can be a sign of sepsis — a life-threatening response to infection. Seek emergency care immediately.
These warning signs are the same safety rules the Nidanix app checks before any AI runs.
