Talking to a doctor

When you can talk to a doctor

Nidanix is an AI-first triage assistant, and most of the time the guidance you get is all you need. But when your result comes back amber or red, you'll see a "Talk to a doctor" option right on that screen. It's there for the moments when a real human can help you decide what to do next, or when you'd simply feel better hearing it from a clinician. Tapping it starts an optional video consult, on your terms.

Verified, registered doctors

Every doctor you can reach through Nidanix is verified, meaning we've checked that they're a real, registered clinician licensed to practise. You're not chatting with another AI or an anonymous helpline here. When you book, you can see who you'll be speaking with, so you always know there's a qualified person on the other end of the call.

Booking and paying, with no surprises

Before anything is charged, you'll see the consult fee and an estimated wait time up front, clearly laid out. Nothing is hidden until the last second, and you can decide whether to go ahead based on what you see. Only once you've reviewed the fee and the wait, and chosen to continue, do you pay and get placed in line to connect. If the timing or cost doesn't suit you, you're free to back out before paying.

You won't have to repeat yourself

Here's the part that saves you time and effort: the doctor already has your AI summary and any photos or media you added during triage. They've seen the picture before the call even begins, so you can skip retelling the whole story from scratch. Feel free to add anything you think is important, but you're starting the conversation already understood, not from zero.

The video call and its controls

Your consult happens over a video call with simple, familiar controls: mute your microphone, turn your camera on or off, and end the call whenever you're done. It's designed to feel calm and uncomplicated, so you can focus on the conversation rather than the buttons. Take your time and ask whatever you need to.

If your connection is weak

Video needs a decent connection, and not every spot has one. If yours is too weak for a smooth call, Nidanix offers a chat fallback so you can keep talking with the doctor by text instead. Your consult isn't lost to a shaky signal, you simply switch to a steadier way to communicate and carry on.

Advice, a plan, and a prescription if needed

During the consult the doctor can give you advice, help you make sense of your symptoms, and set out a clear plan for what to do next. If it's clinically appropriate, they can also issue a prescription. What you get is tailored to your situation, not a one-size-fits-all script, and you'll leave the call knowing your next steps.

Your prescription and nearby pharmacies

When a prescription is issued, it's an official digital prescription you can download as a PDF, ready to use. To make the next step easy, Nidanix can also show you nearby pharmacies so you can find a convenient place to fill it. Everything from the consult, including your summary, the prescription, and the details, is saved in your private history, so you can look back on it whenever you need to.
