FAQ

Is Nidanix free?

Nidanix is free to start. You can run a symptom check, walk through the guided questions, and get clear, plain-language guidance on what to do next without paying anything. Some optional services have a cost — most notably speaking with a verified doctor. Whenever there is a fee, we show it to you clearly up front, before you connect to anyone, so there are never surprise charges.

Is it a real doctor?

The AI in Nidanix is not a doctor and does not pretend to be one. It helps you describe your symptoms, organizes the information, and suggests how urgent things might be. When your situation calls for it, a verified, registered doctor reviews your case and can speak with you directly. The doctor is a real, licensed professional — the AI simply helps prepare and route your case to them.

Can Nidanix diagnose me or replace seeing a doctor?

No. Nidanix gives you guidance and triage — a sense of how urgent something may be and what reasonable next steps look like — but it does not give you a diagnosis. Every AI response carries a clear "this is not a diagnosis" reminder for a reason. A diagnosis is a medical decision, and only a verified doctor can make that call after properly reviewing your case. Think of Nidanix as a calm first step that helps you decide whether and how quickly to seek care, not a substitute for professional medical advice.

How accurate is the AI?

We aim to be honest with you: AI can be helpful, but it can also be wrong, and it can miss things or misunderstand what you type. That is exactly why Nidanix runs deterministic safety checks before the AI is ever involved — so the most dangerous situations are caught by fixed rules, not by a model's best guess. When a real medical decision is needed, a verified doctor owns the final call, not the AI. Please treat the AI's guidance as a starting point, not a verdict.

Is my data private?

Your health information is yours. Data is encrypted, you stay in control of it, and we never sell it. We collect what we need to give you useful guidance and to connect you with a doctor when appropriate — nothing more. You can review what we hold, and you can ask us to delete it. Privacy is a core promise, not an afterthought.

What languages does Nidanix support?

Nidanix supports 17 languages. The app can auto-detect your preferred language, and you can switch it at any time from settings if you'd rather use a different one. The goal is for you to describe how you feel in the language you're most comfortable with, so nothing important gets lost in translation.

Where can I use Nidanix?

Nidanix runs on your phone wherever the app is available to you, and the self-guided symptom check and guidance work in many places. Availability of doctor consultations can vary by region, depending on local rules and which verified doctors are available. If a consultation isn't offered in your area yet, you can still use the AI guidance and your records — and we always point you to local emergency services for anything urgent.

Do I need insurance to use Nidanix?

No insurance is required to use Nidanix. The free guidance and symptom checks don't depend on any insurance at all. For paid services like a doctor consultation, the fee is shown clearly before you connect, and you simply pay for what you use. We don't require you to enroll in or link an insurance plan to get started.

Can I use Nidanix for my child or family?

Yes. You can use Nidanix to help understand symptoms for your child or other family members you care for, and family features let you keep their information organized alongside your own. The same rules apply: the AI offers guidance, not a diagnosis, and a verified doctor makes the medical call when needed. For any serious or fast-worsening symptom in a child, don't wait — contact a doctor or your local emergency number right away.

How do I get a prescription?

Prescriptions don't come from the AI. If, after speaking with you and reviewing your case, a verified doctor decides a prescription is appropriate, they can issue one through the consultation. From there you can view it in the app and take it to a pharmacy. Whether a prescription is suitable is entirely the doctor's decision — Nidanix never prescribes on its own.

What happens in an emergency or a "red" result?

If your answers point to something potentially serious, Nidanix short-circuits straight to a loud, unmistakable red emergency screen with a call button — no AI guesswork stands between you and getting help. This is handled by fixed safety rules that run before any AI, so urgent cases are flagged fast. Please remember: the in-app button is there to help, but in a true emergency you should always call your local emergency number directly, as fast as possible.

How do I delete my data?

You're in control of your information and can request deletion from within the app's settings. When you delete your account or data, we remove your personal health information from our active systems. If you have any trouble finding the option or want to confirm something was removed, you can reach out to support — and because we never sell your data, deleting it with us means it's gone from us, not passed along to someone else.
